The unmet needs perceived by the pharma company were not the unmet needs perceived by HCPs and their patients – to the extent that even certain symptoms seen as problematic by the pharma company were not problematic to patients. Other important aspects of unmet need revealed critical insights on preferred drug delivery methods to help the company build their value proposition.
