We recommended the best technology partner to help our client break into the UK platform market.
The challenge
Our client was looking to enter the UK platform market, but needed to appoint a technology partner.
Having narrowed down their search to a shortlist of two, our client asked us for guidance on which provider would be best for them and would optimise their market entry.
They needed us to be an independent assessor of the two potential partners and their proposals and make a final recommendation on which to appoint.
Our approach
We have extensive knowledge and experience of the UK platform market and so we started by giving our client a summary of all providers, as a frame of reference.
We measured each of the shortlisted supplier proposals and capabilities against the client’s requirements, provided an evidence-based assessment on their ability to deliver to timescales, evaluated the commercial proposals against other users of each supplier’s technology and recommended the best fit partner.
Finally, we provided guidance on managing the project, from mobilisation through to implementation.
The outcome
By working closely with our client over this six-week project, they were confident with the rationale behind the recommendation and are now working with the recommended partner to progress the launch of their platform business.
